Reverse description Full-length facing figure of Saint Kilian, patron saint of Würzburg, depicted in episcopal vestments including mitre and cope, holding a crozier in his left hand and a book or palm in his right. The saint stands on a plain ground line against an unadorned field. The circular Latin legend naming the saint runs along both sides of the periphery, interrupted at top and bottom, with a fine milled border enclosing the entire design.
