Obverse description Central field displays the interlocked monogram of George Frederick — the letters G and F intertwined — set within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend reads SOLIDVS·PRVSSIAE followed by the date 1594 and a floral ornament, all in Latin script. The coin is hammered, imparting a characteristically irregular flan with slightly uneven relief. The monogram is rendered in a bold Gothic style typical of late 16th-century German princely coinage. The overall design is austere and functional, consistent with the small billon schilling denomination.
