Obverse description Central field features the crowned royal cipher of Frederick William II, comprising an interlaced script FW monogram beneath a royal crown. The monogram is rendered in elegant cursive lettering, occupying the majority of the flan. Frederick William II reigned as King of Prussia from 1786 to 1797 and served as the 20th Elector of Brandenburg.
