| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the interlaced royal cypher FR (Fridericus Rex) in relief, the two letters conjoined to form an elegant monogram. The cypher is surmounted by a large royal crown with elaborate detailing. A mintmark appears below the monogram in the lower field. The design is simple and heraldic, occupying nearly the full flan with no surrounding legend. |
