Obverse description Quartered shield bearing the arms of Württemberg (three stags' antlers) and Mömpelgard (a bend), set within a beaded inner circle. A Gothic uncial legend surrounds the shield, reading the names and titles of the joint counts, interrupted by small cross stops. The overall style is characteristic of late medieval South German hammered coinage.
