| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the Teutonic Order's eagle displayed, superimposed upon a long cross that extends to the coin's edge, dividing the field into four quarters. The shield is rendered in Gothic heraldic style with a smaller inescutcheon at its center. A circular inner legend surrounds the central device, with the Grand Master's name rendered in uncial lettering reading MAGST' CORADVS TERCI. The overall composition is characteristic of late 14th-century Prussian hammered coinage. |
