| Obverse description | Double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, each head surmounted by a separate imperial crown and the whole ensemble surmounted by a third crown above. The composite Austria-Burgundy escutcheon is borne on the eagle's breast, divided per pale with the Austrian fess dexter and the Burgundy arms sinister. The surrounding Latin legend runs clockwise within the coin's border, identifying the joint sovereigns Albert and Isabella by the grace of God. |
