Obverse description Central field bears four large Chinese characters reading 大清銀幣 (Great Qing Silver Coin) arranged vertically, with a small floral rosette at center. An inner beaded circle frames the central legend, with additional Chinese characters and Arabic script appearing between the inner and outer borders. Tibetan or Uyghur script flanks the design on the left and right in the outer annulus. The legend 喀什噶爾 (Kashgar) appears at the top and 餉平壹兩 at the bottom, referencing the mint location and weight standard. The entire design is enclosed within a dentilated outer border.
