| Obverse description | Central field bears four large Chinese ideograms arranged in a cruciform pattern reading top to bottom and right to left, with a floral rosette at the centre. Additional Chinese characters appear in the upper and lower margins denoting the Great Qing dynasty and the denomination and weight standard. Arabic legends flank the central design on both sides, identifying the Kashgar Mint and the AH date 1315. The overall layout is characteristic of the hybrid Sino-Islamic coinage produced at the Kashgar Mint for circulation in Sinkiang Province. |

| Reverse description | A coiled Imperial dragon is depicted facing front at the centre of the coin, surrounded by a beaded inner circle. The dragon, rendered in the distinctive Kashgar provincial style with a frontal facial view and scaled body, clutches a flaming pearl. Encircling the inner circle is a broad decorative wreath of floral branches and foliage with a rosette at the top and a ribbon-tied bow at the bottom, all within a milled border. The overall design reflects the local Sinkiang interpretation of late Qing Imperial dragon coinage. |
