Obverse description Central device comprising the royal Siamese regalia: a tiered, multi-spired phra maha phichai mongkut (great crown of victory) resting upon a foliate lotus pedestal, flanked on either side by a tall, ornate tiered ceremonial vessel or phan. Radiating sunrays emanate from a central point above the crown, filling the upper field. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border, with no legend present.
