(Translation: 1 Ryo Mitsutsugu)
Reverse description The reverse displays the distinctive cursive butterfly-like kao (cipher signature) of the mint official rendered in flowing relief at the center of the oval flan. Prominently stamped era characters denoting the Genroku period appear as the principal identifying mark, accompanied by additional stamps of mint officials distributed across the field. The overall composition follows the established convention of Edo-period koban reverses, with multiple authenticating stamps impressed into the gold surface in a formally arranged pattern.
