Reverse description Central field depicts a long-handled crowned sword, point downward, positioned vertically and flanked by the denomination mark 'XXX' above to the dexter and the four-digit date arranged in two rows to either side of the blade, as visible on the 1569-dated example. The sword hilt is surmounted by a crown, with the crossguard clearly delineated. The design occupies the full field within the inner circle, and the entire composition is enclosed by the motto legend separated by pellet and trefoil stops.
