Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line inscription in Nasta'liq calligraphy occupying the entire field, with the mint designation 'Khitta Kashmir' (territory of Kashmir) prominently featured among the lines of the legend. The regnal year of Zaman Shah is incorporated within the inscription, the text arranged in curved registers across the flan. Pellet ornaments and small floral devices punctuate the margins of the inscribed area, consistent with Durrani-era provincial mint practice. The irregular strike and flan edges confirm hand-hammered manufacture at the Kashmir mint under Afghan suzerainty.
