Obverse description The obverse features a jhar (floral branch or plant motif) prominently displayed in the left field, accompanied by a Nagari letter. A multi-line Persian inscription occupies the central and right portions of the field, referencing both Queen Victoria and Maharaja Jaswant Singh as joint authorities. The legends are rendered in flowing Nastaliq calligraphy typical of Rajput princely coinage of the period. The design fills the flan in the traditional style of Indian hammered rupees, with no formal border or beading.
