Obverse description Draped and crowned bust of Empress Victoria facing left, wearing the Imperial State Crown and an elaborately ornamented bodice with floral scrollwork. The hair is arranged in a chignon with a veil, and a pearl necklace is visible at the neck. The legend 'VICTORIA EMPRESS' arcs around the bust, with 'VICTORIA' to the left and 'EMPRESS' to the right, all within a beaded border.
