Obverse description Hammered silver flan of irregular roundness bearing a three-register Persian/Urdu epigraphic design typical of late Mughal-style rupees. The central band, separated by horizontal ruled lines, carries the principal royal legend in Naskh script reading 'Sikka Aziz Uddin / Shah Alam Badshah Ghazi' with the frozen Christian date 1819 incorporated into the field. The upper and lower registers contain supplementary elements of the royal titulature. The overall composition follows the standard Mughal epigraphic convention with dotted ornamental stops dividing the legend segments, and the coin exhibits the characteristic uneven fabric of a transitional mint strike.
