| Obverse description | The obverse features multiple horizontal bands of Arabic calligraphic legend in the Naskh script, arranged across the full coin field in the traditional Durrani rupee style. The inscriptions, rendered in bold flowing strokes, contain the ruler's name and titles. The legends are contained within partial decorative borders at the top and bottom, typical of Taimur Shah's hammered silver coinage. The irregular flan and hand-struck technique produce slight variations in legend placement across different dies. |
