| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing a multi-line Persian legend in Naskh script arranged centrally within the field, reading from bottom to top. The inscription declares, in the name of God and the Prophet, the authority of Taimur Shah as Nizam (Viceroy), along with the Hijri regnal date 1171 AH. The legend occupies the full face of the coin, with no border or decorative frame, typical of Durrani-period rupees struck at provincial mints. |
