| Obverse description | Central field bearing the Persian royal legend 'Sikka Mubarak Badhah Ghazi' arranged in three horizontal registers, enclosed within a double-lined cartouche typical of Mughal-style coinage. The 'Mim' of 'Alam' appears as a distinguishing mint or ruler mark within the field. Scattered pellet ornaments fill the interstices between the lines of text. The script is rendered in a bold, cursive Nasta'liq hand characteristic of mid-18th century Indian hammered rupees. The coin exhibits the irregular flan shape typical of hand-struck issues of this period. |
