Reverse description The reverse displays the Kalima (Islamic declaration of faith) within a central circular cartouche, with the Shahada legend reading 'La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasul Allah' in refined nasta'liq calligraphy. Surrounding the central circle, an outer marginal legend in Persian names the four Rightly Guided Caliphs — Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, Umar, Uthman, and Ali — with the AH date 1066 included in the outer field. The entire surface of the flan is occupied by inscription, with no decorative motifs, consistent with orthodox Mughal numismatic convention. The lettering is boldly struck in high relief against a flat, unadorned field. A small test mark (pellet) is visible near the centre of the coin.
