Reverse description The reverse displays bold Nastaliq Persian calligraphy in two principal registers separated by a raised linear border, giving the regnal year (julus) and the mint name Najibabad. The lower register contains the AH date numerals in large, clearly struck characters, visible here as numerals consistent with years AH 1206–1214. Decorative pellet ornaments punctuate the field, and the inscription fills the flan to the raised rim with minimal flat field visible, characteristic of hammered Mughal rupees of this period.
