Obverse description Central field bearing a three-line Persian/Urdu legend reading 'Sikka Mubarak / Badshah Ghazi / Shah Ali Gauhar', denoting the auspicious coin of the victorious emperor Shah Alam II. The inscription is presented in Nastaliq script within a plain field, characteristic of late Mughal-style coinage produced at the Poona transitional mint. The layout follows the conventional Mughal rupee format with the regnal legend occupying the entire obverse face without figural imagery.
