Obverse description Hammered silver flan bearing a two-line Persian couplet in Nastaliq script reading 'Fazl-i-Hami Din' across the central field, flanked by the royal name and titles of Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II together with the AH regnal date. The legends are enclosed within a plain linear border, the script flowing in the characteristic bold, diagonal style typical of late Mughal rupees struck at provincial mints.
