Reverse description The reverse bears a three-register Persian-script legend within a rectangular cartouche framed by linear borders, recording the mint name and date. The upper register contains the Hijri regnal year in Arabic numerals, while the central register reads 'Zarb Burhanpur Dar al-Surur,' identifying Burhanpur as the city of joy and the place of striking. The lower register records the regnal year preceded by the phrase 'Julus Maimnat Manus,' denoting the auspicious accession. The calligraphy is executed in the bold Naskh style typical of late Mughal provincial coinage. A small decorative star or floral ornament appears in the field to the right.
