| Obverse description | Three-line Persian legend within a rectangular cartouche, divided by two horizontal ruled lines across the coin's field. The central band bears the royal titles 'Shah Alam Badshah Ghazi' (King of the World, Warrior King) in bold Nasta'liq script. The lower register contains the regnal coin legend with the Hijri year 1121 AH. Small decorative pellets are distributed throughout the field, a hallmark of late Mughal hammered coinage. |
