Reverse description Central field displays a stylised beaded floral medallion composed of radiating petals and foliate scrollwork in the Mughal decorative tradition, surrounded by flowing calligraphic Persian inscriptions giving the regnal legend and the current Vikram Samvat date. Clusters of beaded pellets are distributed across the field as ornamental punctuation, consistent with Sikh coinage convention. The legends are arranged in curved bands separated by linear borders, with additional floral vine motifs filling the peripheral areas. The overall design reflects the characteristic Amritsar mint style of the late Ranjit Singh period.
