| Obverse description | Central field occupied by bold Nagari and Persian calligraphic legends in the Mughal tradition, divided by a horizontal line separating the upper and lower registers. The upper register bears the mint name in stylized Arabic script, accompanied by the AH regnal date. Decorative floral or star-like ornaments appear in the field flanking the inscriptions. The legends fill the coin face to the rim, typical of the Gaja Shahi series struck at the Datia mint. |
