Obverse description Struck in the Mughal tradition, the obverse displays two lines of bold Arabic-script legend arranged across a horizontally divided field, separated by a raised linear bar. The upper register bears the principal inscription in large, fluid Naskh characters, flanked by pellet ornaments at the periphery. The lower register continues the legend in similarly bold strokes, with additional pellet devices scattered throughout the field. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, characteristic of hand-struck coinage of the early nineteenth-century Indian princely states. The overall style closely follows the Mughal imperial rupee prototype.
