Reverse description Reverse displays three lines of Nasta'liq inscription arranged across the hammered flan and separated by horizontal line rules. The upper register bears the regnal year formula 'Sana Julus Maimanat Manus' (Year of the Auspicious Accession), the central register records the mint name 'Zarb Surat' (Struck at Surat), and the lower register carries the regnal year numeral. Two small floral or rosette ornaments are visible in the field flanking the central inscription band, a decorative feature characteristic of the Surat mint issue.
