Reverse description Three horizontal registers of Persian-script legends in Nasta'liq calligraphy occupy the entire flan, consistent with standard Mughal hammered coinage. The central band prominently displays the mint name 'Katak' (Cuttack), while the upper register records the regnal year and the term 'ahd' (accession year). Parallel lines frame the central cartouche above and below, lending a structured appearance to the design. The lower register bears additional formulaic text completing the mint and date citation. The strike is typical of provincial Mughal minting, with slightly irregular flan edges.
