Obverse description Central field dominated by a bold three-line Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal bands divided by ruled lines, reading the royal titles of Emperor Muhammad Shah. The uppermost line carries part of the imperial name, the central band bears the primary legend 'Badshah Ghazi' (King and Holy Warrior), and the lower register contains the mint epithet and regnal dating. Dot pellets are distributed along the border and between the bands as decorative and separating elements, characteristic of late Mughal hammered coinage.
