| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan of irregular round shape bearing a three-line Arabic religious and administrative legend within a plain field. The upper portion of the obverse carries the Shahada formula, with the ruler's name Muhammad Ishaq inscribed in the central register. The mint name Balkh and the regnal years 1305/1306 AH appear in the lower register, all executed in bold naskh-style Arabic script characteristic of late Afghan provincial coinage. |
