Reverse description Central field encloses a multi-line Arabic inscription within an octagonal border, containing the mint name (Ahmadabad), the Ilahi regnal year, and the Persian calendar month. The octagonal frame is surrounded by a field filled with intricate cross-hatched and foliate decorative motifs consistent with late Akbari coinage style. A row of raised pellets or beaded border is visible along portions of the inner margin, separating the central legend from the outer ornamental field. The inscription records the date according to Akbar's unique Ilahi calendar system.
