| Reverse description | The reverse is similarly divided into horizontal registers of Persian-Nasta'liq script. The central register prominently displays the Vikrama Samvat date 1833 (corresponding to 1776 CE) rendered in Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals. The upper register carries the mint epithet and additional regnal formulae, while the lower register bears a partial inscription. The die is hand-engraved and the strike is typical of the Lahore mint's hammered production, with characteristic die-shift and irregular planchet edges. |
