| Obverse description | Central field bearing the name and titles of Mughal Emperor Muhammad Akbar II in flowing Nastaliq Arabic script, arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line. Dotted ornamental devices appear in the lower register corners. The legends fill the flan to the edge with no border, consistent with the hammered coinage tradition of Gwalior princely issue. |
