| Obverse description | Central field features a traditional geometric yantra-style design divided into segments, each containing Devanagari inscriptions spelling the royal name and titles of King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, with a trident symbol at the centre. Decorative floral and symbolic motifs, including a sun and leaf devices, occupy the lateral panels of the design. The Bikram Sambat date २०६२ appears in the lower segment of the central panel. The entire design is enclosed within an ornate border of 64 raised dots around the periphery. |
