Obverse description The obverse displays a dense field of Persian-script legends arranged in multiple horizontal registers across the entire flan, in the tradition of Mughal-style coinage. The inscriptions, rendered in a bold Naskh hand, record the name and titles of the ruling sovereign along with the mint and regnal year. A decorative rope or cable border encircles the inner field, and a toothed or granulated outer rim frames the design. The overall composition is characteristic of the Indo-Persian numismatic tradition maintained by the Jaipur princely state.
