Obverse description Central field bearing the Persian/Urdu inscription naming Maharaja Dungar Singh and Queen Victoria, rendered in flowing Nastaliq calligraphy. The legend is arranged in multiple lines across the coin's face, occupying the full field in the traditional Mughal-derived style common to Princely State rupees of the period.
