Reverse description A three-quarter facing bust of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar is depicted centrally, portraying him in a suit and tie with spectacles, in a formal portrait style characteristic of Indian commemorative coinage. The legend 'DR. B.R. AMBEDKAR' arcs along the upper periphery in Latin script, with its Devanagari equivalent 'डा.बी.आर.अम्बेडकर' also present. The inscription 'जन्म शती' (Birth Centenary) in Devanagari and 'CENTENARY' in Latin script appear in the lower field, flanking the year '1990'. This reverse die was paired with a standard circulation obverse die, resulting in the mule error designation for this coin.
