Reverse description The reverse bears the mint name and regnal year inscribed in Arabic script, arranged across the field in the customary nastaliq style. The mint name Kabul (کابل) and the Hijri date, ranging from 1250 to 1255 AH depending on the year of issue, are prominently struck in raised relief. A beaded border encircles the periphery of the flan, partially visible given the irregular shape of the hammered planchet. The layout follows the standard epigraphic format established for Afghan hammered rupees of the Barakzai dynasty.
