Obverse description	The obverse displays a circular vignette at left with a portrait of King George V in uniform, inscribed 'GEORGE V KING & EMPEROR' around the perimeter. The central text panel carries the promise clause in cursive script over an oval guilloche underprint in rose-pink, with the denomination 'ONE RUPEE' in bold letterpress. The heading 'Government of India' appears at top in ornate script, with 'RUPEE' printed vertically in a boxed stamp at upper right; serial number and prefix are repeated both at top right and bottom left, with the signatory's manuscript signature at lower right.
