| Obverse description | Octagonal flan with a beaded border encircling multiple horizontal lines of Assamese script. The legend, rendered in the Assamese character, records the royal title and name of the issuing ruler Brajanath Gohain. The Saka Era date appears in the lower portion of the field. The design is characteristic of late Ahom Kingdom coinage, with densely packed inscriptional content filling the entire obverse surface. |
