| Obverse description | The obverse features an ornate rectangular frame subdivided into six compartments arranged in a cross pattern, with a small trident symbol at the center intersection. The Devanagari royal legend naming King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev is distributed across the compartments, accompanied by the Bikram Sambat date 2052. Decorative solar and floral motifs occupy the corner segments of the frame, while curved foliate ornaments flank the design on either side. A beaded border encircles the entire composition, separated from the rim by a plain margin. |
