| Obverse description | Central field features the ruler's name and titles inscribed in elaborate Nasta'liq calligraphy within a quatrefoil or diamond-shaped cartouche, enclosed by a dotted inner border. The surrounding field is densely filled with additional Arabic inscriptions arranged in foliate or lobed panels radiating outward. The entire design is characteristic of the hammered coinage tradition of the Durrani dynasty, with the irregular flan lending an organic, artisanal character to the overall composition. |
