| Obverse description | Central field features the ruler's name and titles inscribed in elaborate Nasta'liq calligraphy within a quatrefoil or diamond-shaped cartouche, enclosed by a dotted inner border. The surrounding field is densely filled with additional Arabic inscriptions arranged in foliate or lobed panels radiating outward. The entire design is characteristic of the hammered coinage tradition of the Durrani dynasty, with the irregular flan lending an organic, artisanal character to the overall composition. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents bold Nasta'liq calligraphic inscriptions filling a large square or rectangular central cartouche, containing the mint name (Peshawar) and regnal year rendered in florid Arabic script. The cartouche is framed by a continuous herringbone or chevron border, with floral and foliate ornaments occupying the peripheral field between the central panel and the coin's irregular edge. The overall design follows the traditional Durrani rupee format, with densely packed script and decorative vegetal motifs characteristic of early nineteenth-century Afghan minting practice. |
