Obverse description Central field features a two-line Persian poetic couplet invoking the ruler's name and titles, all contained within an incuse square cartouche. Floral or foliate ornaments appear at the corners of the central square. Additional inscriptions occupy the areas outside the square in the surrounding field, typical of Mughal hammered coinage. The calligraphy is rendered in Nasta'liq script with bold, flowing strokes characteristic of Aurangzeb-era silver rupees.

Reverse description Central square cartouche contains the jalus (accession) formula reading 'jalus maimanat manus' (the throne of auspicious fortune), along with the regnal year and mint name Junagadh. Inscriptions in Nasta'liq calligraphy are arranged in two or three lines within the square, with date and mint information distributed between the inner and outer fields. Small decorative pellets or rosettes punctuate the corners of the central square, consistent with standard Mughal rupee reverse design of the period.
