| Reverse description | The reverse field is fully occupied by a bold, densely rendered Devanagari multi-character legend, struck in high relief across the irregular flan. The inscription, characteristic of anonymous Kishangarh rupee types of the First Series, fills the entire die area without a defined border, the letters exhibiting the vigorous, somewhat free-form quality typical of hand-engraved hammered dies of this princely state issue. The flan edges are ragged and uneven, consistent with the hammered technique employed throughout this series. |
