Reverse description Central field bearing a two-line Arabic calligraphic legend in Nasta'liq script, recording the mint name Khairpur and the regnal year 1255 AH. The inscription 'Zarb Khairpur' (struck at Khairpur) appears above the Hijri date numerals, arranged across the flan in the style conventional to Sindhi princely issues. The hammered strike imparts an organic, slightly off-centre character to the legend, with the field darkened by natural silver toning, and the borders undelineated consistent with the local minting tradition.
