| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription in flowing Naskh script, reading 'Al-Ghazi Amir Amanullah' with the Solar Hijri date below. The honorific title 'Al-Ghazi' (the Warrior) appears prominently at the top of the legend, asserting the ruler's martial prestige. The entire inscription is enclosed within an open wreath of olive or laurel branches tied at the base, framing the legends on both sides. No portrait effigy is present, in keeping with Islamic artistic convention. The field is otherwise plain, directing full attention to the calligraphic legend. |
