| Obverse description | Central field features the large numeral '1' above the Urdu word for Rupee (روپے) and the date 1977 in Arabic-Eastern numerals. The legend حکومت پاکستان (Government of Pakistan) arcs across the upper field in Urdu script. Two ornamental wheat or olive sprays flank the lower portion of the denomination, meeting at the base, while a beaded border encircles the entire design. |
