Obverse description Central field bears the name and titles of Emperor Akbar II in flowing Nastaliq script, arranged in horizontal registers across the coin's face. A parasol symbol appears prominently within the design, serving as an imperial emblem of sovereignty. The AH regnal date is incorporated into the legend. The script fills the flan to its edges in the characteristically dense calligraphic style of late Mughal coinage, with dots used as decorative separators between inscription registers.
